Oct 9, 2021 · 16.’Please Please Me’. The follow-up to The Beatles’ début single ‘Love Me Do’, ‘Please Please Me’ became their first number-one single. It had started life as a blues-infused rip-off of a Roy Orbison track, but, with the help of George Martin, became emblematic of The Beatles’ early sound.
The Beatles: Get Back is a 2021 documentary series directed and produced by Peter Jackson.It covers the making of the Beatles' 1970 album Let It Be (which had the working title of Get Back) and draws largely from unused footage and audio material originally captured for and recycled original footage from the 1970 documentary of the album by Michael Lindsay-Hogg.
